πŸͺ™ SPECIAL ISSUE 2/4 πŸͺ™ XRP vs. ETH vs. ADA - slowly bleeding to zero or explosion? πŸͺ™ Altseason report πŸͺ™

Dear Lizards,

we are happy to announce we are continuing with our TOP20 altcoin stresstest series as a special issue. We'll dive deep into their charts, fundamentals, and long-term outlook to help you make educated decisions in this rapidly changing market.

In today's issue, we are focusing on three very popular but also VERY low performing altcoins so far: Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP) and Cardano (ADA). We chose to cover these three because of their still huge fanbase AND because they are way behind the optimistic expectations. We will shed some light in their background, use case, technical analysis and most importantly: their growth potential in the upcoming Altseason.

Yours,
Stockmoney Lizards

Slowly bleeding out?

The Altcoin Showdown: Who would win Ethereum, Ripple or Cardano?

Ethereum (ETH): The First of The Many

Since 2015, Ethereum better known as the global computer has been the building block of blockchain technology and of the ecosystem. The smart contract capabilities of this technology have given rise to many development applications, and countless developers are building on it. In the year 2022, ETH had already changed from the consensus of proof of work to proof of stake. However, ETH still controls the DeFi space as well as Optics Web’s NFTs.

Ripple (XRP): The Enterprise Solution

Ripples and XRP start from 2012 with the vision of making a payment network for low-cost payment transfer services for banks. XRP is the currency used on the rippling network acts as a cross-border substitute currency. Ripple is efficient in terms of speed, and high throughput for low-cost transactions hence it has been able to strike many deals with banks and other financial competition.

Cardano (ADA): A More Scientific Approach

Starting out in 2017, Cardano prides itself on its degree of emphasis on the education of the blockchain ecosystem development. Cardano is designed by engineers and a group of scientists’ extensive research and analysis come first. Their unique architecture as well as their aim at self-sustainability and high capacity made Cardano a strong rival of Ethereum in the smart contracts race.

A Tale of Two Cycles

Despite their immense popularity and strong fundamentals, ETH, XRP, and ADA have faced challenges in outperforming Bitcoin during the current market cycle. While they have consistently maintained their positions in the top 20, none have managed to break out and achieve substantial gains relative to BTC.

The Altcoin Season Dilemma

As the crypto market eagerly awaits the next altcoin season, investors are faced with a crucial decision: Should they stick with established giants like ETH, XRP, and ADA, or explore newer projects like Sui that offer potentially higher returns but come with increased risk?

In the following sections, we will delve deeper into the strengths, weaknesses, and potential upside of these three altcoins to help you make an informed investment decision.
